Leave it to the NY Times to write a glowing article about The Strokes now, like when their collection of 12 songs is already getting worn out on the jukeboxes in the east village...and midtown... but they do make the point that they are the first small disaffected downtown NY band with bad hair to also be a Big Rock Band in their own time.
