- NYT reports that midriffs are the new breasts. We thought asses were.
- Review of the Radiohead concert at the Beacon the other night.
- NYT has a rare interview with the city's chief medical examiner. They used to be called coroners, remember? (I wasn't going to blog it, but then I was watching the new Homicide DVDs last night, and that fired up my interest.)
- One of the last phone booths in the city (the one on West End Ave and 100th) was replaced yesterday -- by a new phone booth! Well, almost new. It's the same one they've been renting out for movies for years.
