My favorite NYT science journalist,

My favorite NYT science journalist, Natalie Angier, addresses a new theory proposed by some evolutionary biologists at Cornell, who posit that in selecting mates, both men and women look for someone similar to themselves. A big change from other standard theories (men seek youth and beauty, women seek material wealth and resources) that downplays the differences between what men and women want, which seems to make sense in these post-hunter-and-gatherer times we live in.
