Ebert issues his second half-hearted

Ebert issues his second half-hearted defense of Gigli. Ten days ago, when he reviewed it, I felt he was doing an honorable thing by giving it 2.5 stars when he must have known that every other critic was going to trash it. Ebes goes through phases -- sometimes very long phases -- of loving everything*, but we still love, honor and obey him.

Also in the same column, Dave Eggers writes to Ebert about his (Eggers') "pirate store" in San Francisco.

*except Vince Gallo, apparently. Ebert goes out of his way TWICE in the column to take shots at ole VG.
