Election News: Refresh, Refresh, Refresh
Here's a list of some sites that will be updated frequently today. (5pm: A lot of them are slow because of all the traffic they are getting.)
- 3.50pm: Slate has posted exit poll data on this page. Kerry doing okay; 1 point up in FL, OH.
- People for the American Way's Election Protection Incident Reporting System. Database updated as voters/poll watchers call hotline.
- Verified Voting's Incident Reporting System. (Site very slow to load, presumably due to traffic.)
- ElectionLine.org. Frequent updates from voters' rights organization.
- Electronic Frontier Foundation: reporting unusual incidents, particularly as they relate to electronic voting.
- MSNBC mini-blog: Election Ticktock.
- Very unusual AP article that is being updated throughout the day, in a blog-like fashion. Reporter is writing from a single polling location in Michigan. Read from the bottom up.
- Demos Election Newswire, featuring local articles on polling problems and lawsuits sorted by state, as well as national coverage.
- Lost Remote: Great TV blog, with an emphasis on news coverage (especially today).
- MSNBC Voter Hotline incident map. Color-coded according to density of problems. Shows call statistics for states, broken down by congressional district.
- CNN's electoral vote scoreboard.
- Wonkette.
