NYT discusses so-called "sport wagons"
NYT discusses so-called "sport wagons" which are really more like a cross between a compact car and a station wagon. True sport wagons, like the 340-hp Audi S6 and new 8-cylinder Passats are not mentioned. I don't know about you, but I don't think I'd want to drive a Subaru Impreza or a cheap-ass Pontiac Vibe to, say, Alaska.

You can't call a car that is heavier then 3400lbs is NOT a sport wagon. Those cars need larger power plants to move then at speed.
