Interesting essay in the Guardian

Interesting essay in the Guardian about race in America, the war in Iraq, and Tony Blair's spin. Blair seems to be particularly clueless about racial issues and tensions in his own country, though is quick to praise the African-American population (who make up the racial group least in support of the war, and are largely the ones who are over there fighting it) and the state of race relations in the US. He also strangely complains about the lack of black people in his own cabinet, when he is the one responsible for appointments.
