Boston Globe has a profile
Boston Globe has a profile of Boston's new archbishop. Hopefully he will continue the pattern of increased openness begun by the interim archbishop. Those quoted tend to think he will. If he embodies the ideals of the Franciscan order of which he is a member, maybe things will begin to mend in Boston and in the Church as a whole. The outstanding question, perhaps, is whether he will be able to exhibit the necessary strength and command while still maintaining his humility.
And, it looks like he wears hipster glasses, which I hate on hipsters but love on Archbishops.
