Why are Howard Dean's meet-up campaigning events so popular among hot, smart, urban young things? Probably because of all the hot, smart, urban young things. Fundraising events are often held in bars and cool people's loft apartments, and are full of openly flirty politically-aware kids, gay and straight, looking to meet up and make out. "Decisiveness is hot," says Kat Kinsman, 31, a Webmaster. "You have an immediate avenue for conversation, and you can exchange digits without any awkwardness, because it seems like you're doing it for political reasons."
