Oh, I love 'Foxbase Alpha' so much. I can't wait for 'Beta' to come out. This is such a cool idea, wouldn't it be interesting to hear other bands' albums completely remixed? I'm sure this isn't a new concept, but exciting all the same since it's St Etienne.

Yes, it should be excellent. One of my favorite Saint Etienne releases is Casino Classics, which is all remixes.

But this album idea is more interesting, and gives Mr. X a chance to look at the album as a whole work to be noodled with in his inimitably catchy electro way. Can't wait!

Somebody awesome just posted a track from Foxbase Beta onto Youtube. I'm in favor so far, this just makes me want to hear more, and fast.

Cool and deadly! Love it! It's a little sleeker and shinier than the original, but I'm cool with that. And definitely want to hear more. The whole set is available on eBay for $50+, which I guess isn't surprising since there are only 3,000 of them.
